The FM-9 is compatible with any AR-15 lower receiver without modification. Utilizing an AR-15 lower provides a familiar set of operating controls for any AR-15 user. The FM-9 is blowback operated, and fires from a closed bolt and feeds from a disintegrating link belt. We offer three barrel lengths in either a fixed barrel setup or a quick-change quad rail forend. You can set up the perfect build for you.

The FM-9 models, the FM-9 Elite and FM-9 Minimalist, both machined from the same components for extreme durability. Three barrel lengths are available for both models with the Minimalist coming with a fixed barrel and the Elite features a quick-change barrel and quad rail forend. Each model comes standard with Freedom Ordnance’s Limited Lifetime Warranty.

BUILT LIKE A TANK
We set a high standard of excellence when we set out to create the FM-9. We spent over a year and half of tuning, refining, and refining some more to bring the belt fed FM-9 to life. The FM-9 is engineered for unmatched strength and durability and machined from billet aluminum and ordnance grade steel. Heat treated and QPQ nitride finish on all steel parts to give the system extreme durability. There’s tough, and then there’s Freedom Ordnance tough.
