The FX-9 is billet machined aluminum with hardened steel QPQ nitride components for extended wear and corrosion resistance.

Depending on the barrel length our pistol-caliber carbines can give you more maneuverability in tight spaces. You also gain lower recoil, which provides you with faster target acquisition. A pistol-caliber carbine also provides more stability than a handgun. All of this makes a pistol-caliber carbine ideal for home defense or as a dedicated truck gun.

MAKE THE MOST OF EVERY SHOT
The Freedom Ordnance FX-9 series of pistol caliber carbines have a reduced recoil when compared to 5.56 rounds or shotgun rounds. You can place shots and retarget quicker between follow-up shots. When every second count having this tactical advantage can mean the difference between life and death.
SHOOTS LIKE A LASER
The FX-9 has a longer sight radius than a handgun which provides greater accuracy. Wider hand placement in conjunction with the FX’s stabilizer or stock increase stability allowing you to dial in shot placement with laser-like precision.
CLOSE QUARTER COMBAT
The upper and lower receiver of the FX-9 is more than 1 inch shorter than a standard AR-15 upper and lower receiver making it more compact and lighter than a conventional mil-spec AR-15 design. Combine this with our 8-inch barrel configuration, and you have an excellent home defense gun that allows you to maneuver between rooms and hallways.

Our Pistol Caliber carbines and pistols use a standard double stack Glock style 9mm magazine and includes a thirty-one round double stack magazine. Trips to the range are a breeze. We can help you swap your carry pistol and PCC magazines with little effort. Magazines subject to change.
